">About the Role:">

First Base is seeking a highly skilled Air Conditioning Specialist to join our team. As a Field Service and Training Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering technical support, servicing air conditioning units, and providing City & Guilds training. This role involves travel and overnight stays, offering an exciting and dynamic work environment.

">Main Responsibilities:">
  1. Routine Maintenance and Servicing: Perform routine maintenance and servicing of air conditioning units to ensure they operate efficiently and reliably.">
  2. Fault Diagnosis and Repair: Diagnose and repair faults in air conditioning systems to minimise downtime for customers.">
  3. Installation Checks and Commissioning: Conduct installation checks and commissioning of new air conditioning units.">
  4. Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to customers on the use and care of their equipment.">
  5. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of work completed, including service reports and maintenance logs.">
  6. Stock Management: Monitor and maintain stock levels on company vehicles, ensuring all necessary tools and spare parts are available.">
  7. Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and health and safety regulations during all service activities.">
  8. Training and Development: Participate in regular training to stay updated on the latest industry practices, equipment, and regulations.">
  9. Travel and Overnight Stays: Travel to customer sites as required, with occasional overnight stays.">
Required Skills and Qualifications:">
  1. Strong Understanding: Strong understanding of air conditioning systems.">
  2. Qualification: City & Guilds mobile air conditioning qualification or equivalent.">
  3. Previous Experience: Previous sales experience, ideally in the automotive or agricultural sectors.">
  4. Networking and Negotiation: Strong networking and negotiation abilities.">
