Copello Global Vacancy: Air Traffic Controller

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Air Traffic Controller to join our team at Copello Global in Cambridge. This exciting opportunity will see you play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safe Air Traffic Services: Provide ATC services in accordance with relevant regulations, including CAP493, CAP774, CAP413, and MATS Part 2.
  • Equipment Management: Ensure all equipment is operated as per approved procedures and instigate fault reporting processes when necessary.
  • Hazard Identification: Take a proactive approach to identifying hazards and make recommendations for operational ATS safety improvements.
  • Reporting Incidents: Report occurrences in a credible expectation of a Just Culture investigation.
  • Equipment Serviceability: Monitor, record, and report the serviceability status of ATC equipment.
  • Failure Identification: Identify failures, abnormal occurrences, or safety hazards and report them accordingly.
Requirements:
  • Validated Experience: Possess validated ATCO Class G Airspace experience.
  • Training and Qualifications: Have experience as an OJTI and/or unit training officer, hold a UK CAA Air Traffic Controller's license with ADI, APP, or APS rating, and possess a Current UK CAA Medical Certificate.
  • Language Proficiency: Demonstrate ATCO Level 6 English language proficiency.
  • Additional Qualifications: Hold a Met Observers Qualification (desirable), OJTI, UCA Endorsement (desirable), Verifier/Evaluator Qualification (desirable), and Assessor / Evaluator / Verifier qualification (desirable).

The estimated salary range for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
