Temporary Holiday Property Administrator

Eaton-Terry Clark (Exmouth Holidays) manages some 25 self-catering holiday properties in Exmouth, Budleigh Salterton and Lympstone. These are advertised on our own web site, on Airbnb and occasionally on other portals.
We advise landlords on what is required in their properties, market the properties, take payments, arrange cleaning and laundry for each let and manage small repairs. Site visits are necessary, both for routine checks and to deal with emergencies. We are looking for a new team member to cover maternity leave. (Three months).
We pride ourselves on being ‘local, personal and professional’ and offer a caring and professional service to our property owners and holidaymakers. We are the only Exmouth-based holiday agent and our local knowledge is an important feature of our service.
- **Responsibilities **_
- Being a contact for holidaymakers, property owners and contractors.
- Administering holiday bookings on ETC’s software.
- Taking payments and processing rental payments to property owners
- Updating and monitoring our company web site including making new pages where necessary
- Updating and monitoring other web sites (including Airbnb)
- Administering changeovers - cleaning rota, linen supply and utility/refreshment packs and maintaining good working relationships with our contractors.
- Visiting properties when there is an issue and also for routine periodic checks.
- Taking a one-third share in having the out-of-hours phone - NB this is not a 24/7 response service, but it is advisable to check it every few hours during the day to respond to any issues or queries. This will involve being on call one in three weekends (overtime paid)
- Dealing with minor repairs and maintenance at holiday properties

Hours 22.5 per week - Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
PLUS - phone cover for one in three weeks.
Some flexibility would be appreciated to work additional hours when the Holidays Manager is on annual leave and to work some extra hours during peak week periods.
Holiday entitlement - 28 days to include bank holidays - to be calculated on a pro-rata basis.

- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office - especially Word and Excel
