Rodbaston / Tamworth (with regular travel across campuses)

**Job Purpose**:
**To work with the Head of Quality Improvement to support and develop quality management, improvement and innovation for all provision types ensuring that students benefit from a high standard of service and a high-quality learning experience. The post-holder will also bring together cross college tutorial and learner voice to support and help enrich learners’ wider experiences and support learners at risk with a team of progression coaches.**

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**
- To work alongside the Head of Quality Improvement to ensure high standards of quality and performance are maintained in all provision types. **Support effective quality assurances process across the college and support interventions where required.**:

- Support CPD delivery across the college. This can be through college wide CPD days, through CM/DoF request, result of learning walks or after departmental reviews.
- Maintain systems to monitor, track and report on the quality assurance of awarding body standards for both internal and external scrutiny.
- Support the Head of Quality improvement to develop, manage and review policies and procedures.
- Develop an effective cross college tutorial scheme offering learners’ chance to build on wider personal and social skills.
- Provide robust support for learners at risk, through line management of the cross-college progression coaches.
- Co-Ordinate the gather of ‘Learner Voice’ through working groups and managing the college learner surveys.
- Manage a team of Progression coaches to identify and support learners at risk and offer cross college enrichment activities.

**Other Duties and Responsibilities**
- To support with the development and implementation of the cross-college tutorial and enrichment programme.
- To develop and monitor the effectiveness of the tutorial programme in line with planned SOW to ensure that learners are participating and engaging with tutorial themes.
- To ensure that learners are participating in Century and completing all nuggets in tutorial.
- To support tutors with setting and monitoring Smart Targets in all elements of their study programme.
- Day-to-day responsibility for the learner voice group across the college inc. recruitment, training, support, and maintenance of the action’s tracker
- Plan, create and manage the learner surveys to support the college in gaining feedback from all areas.
- Maintain systems to monitor, track and report on the quality assurance of awarding body standards for both internal and external audiences.
- Ensure standards for assessment and IV/IQA are fit for purpose, meet Awarding Organisation requirements, and are in line with current good practice. Ensure that Lead IVs/IQAs and curriculum teams are effectively supported to ensure they are applied effectively.
- Support with Value Added processes to provide timely information for curriculum areas and lead improvement processes.
- To support teams and individuals with setting, monitoring, and reviewing SMART targets with individual learners.
- To liaise with MIS, directors of faculty and managers at all levels in the coordination of quality improvement activities.
- To support teams in production of quality reports; for example, retention, achievement, success, and minimum level performance, using Pro-Achieve, How2, Pro-Monitor and other digital software.
- Support a range of assurance and improvement activities.
- Participate in the planning and delivery of staff development including providing training and coaching in quality processes, improvement strategies and sharing good practice.
- Support and contribute to the compilation of the College SAR and Improvement Plan
- Provide support to Ofsted inspections and other external quality assessments including Awarding Organisation and QAA reviews.
- Attend and represent the college at external network meetings, conferences and good practice sharing events.
- To carry out all duties in accordance with the College’s Health and Safety, Safeguarding & Equality & Diversity policies and procedures, practices and procedures.
- To carry out any other duties as directed by your Line Manager.
