**The Role**

The Advice Centre serves as a hub for students who require practical support in solving their issues around academia, housing and finance. The Student Advisor position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a keen interest in providing excellent customer service in an advisory capacity.

In addition to supporting and responding to student enquiries via a variety of platforms, the job holder will take on one-to-one casework with students, some of whom may have complex difficulties.

**About You**
- Experience of providing a high standard of customer services.
- Experience of working within a Higher Educational environment or, have recent experience or knowledge of University guidelines.
- Excellent listening and communication skills and experience of working with clients on a 1-1 basis in a supporting role.
- Ability to work in a busy and high-pressured environment with the skills to prioritise work quickly and efficiently.
