We currently have a great opportunity for a **Relief Care Assistant** to join our Care Plus team at The Sandford Nursing Home, Church Stretton, Shropshire on a relief / bank worker basis.

We’re looking for a dedicated professional to bring our values to life and ensure our customers receive outstanding services.

**The Role**

As a Care Assistant you will work within the Nursing Team assisting elderly residents with normal activities of daily living promoting their independence and maintaining their dignity and respect.

The postholder will assist residents with all aspects of their everyday lives. This will include personal hygiene assistance, toileting, diet and nutritional requirements as well as helping the promotion and stimulation of mental and physical activity.

As a Relief Care Assistant there are no fixed or guaranteed hours of work per week. You would work as and when required, covering days, nights and weekends.

**Skills and experience required**:

- The ability to work with in a team and on their own.
- Previous experience in providing a quality care service for people
- A commitment to delivering quality care to vulnerable adults
- The ability to work with in a team and on their own.
- Excellent verbal, written and face to face communication skills
