We currently have a great opportunity for anAssistant Managerto join our Care Plus team at The Sandford Nursing Home, Church Stretton, Shropshire on a permanent basis working 36 hours per week.

The Sandford Nursing Home is a place our residents call home. It's a happy, welcoming atmosphere set amongst the Shropshire hills with luxurious accommodation and expert, nursing-led care and we're looking for caring and supportive individuals to join us.

Main duties of the job

As an Assistant Manager, you will work within and lead the Nursing Home Team assisting elderly residents with normal activities of daily living, promoting independence and maintaining an individuals dignity and respect.

You will oversee/maintain the care of residents in the absence of the Registered Manager, to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Home and ensure that all company policies and procedures, and all legal requirements are met within defined time scales.

You will delegate responsibility to Junior Registered Nurses and the care team ensuring a high standard of nursing care on a continual basis whilst ensuring CQC regulations are met.
