NJ BEAUTY ACADEMY is currently recruiting for a administrator/receptionist to join our team to work in the academy based in Canary Wharf E14 9TS.

We are beauty academy providing beauty training vocational skills and treatments. We believe in excellent team work, to work forward to the same goal, to strive for excellence of services and client, learner satisfaction.

**Receptionist and administrator role** **and responsibilities in the following areas**:

- Customer Service is one of your key responsibilities greeting all customers ensuring that all students and clients are welcomed and are given the utmost professional service with special attention to comfort and friendliness in order to generate an efficient but pleasant atmosphere.
- Assist clients and students and all tutors and assessor to ensure the efficient running of the academy.
- Ensure the reception and other common areas are clean and hygiene.
- Ensuring that all equipment is in safe working order, maintained and serviced.
- Developing a full working knowledge of all services, products, courses, equipment, tools and prices in the academy.
- Carrying out a consultation and aftercare
- Awareness and anticipation are two main responsibilities of the role, always be aware of the needs of not only clients, but anticipate the needs of the academy team and their clients.
- Review your own performance, aiming to meet or exceed academy targets.
- To ensure the salon policies in relation to dress code and appearance are adhered to.
- Handling customer comments and complaints in a professional manner.
- Daily account report, record income and expenses,
- Daily update social media, take a activities photos, video demonstration gathering the material for social media
- Prepare a course material and provide relevant information for tutor and students
- Update employee attendance record
- Dealing with invoice and receipt

- Strong communication skills, both oral and written with an attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Strong commitment to working with team members and training.
- Capable of working on own initiative with / without supervision within the guidelines of the Policies and Procedures manual.
- A calm and discreet manner towards all clients and staff.
- Good organisational skills and an excellent timekeeper.
- A flexible attitude in order to cover / support all training and salon areas when requested to.
- Presents a professional and positive image both within the academy and external events.
- Discretion with all students and clients to ensure their privacy, and protection of the academy brand.

**Technical Knowledge**
- Excellent IT skills
- Have experience in MS Word, MS Excel, online booking system.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Freelance, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Salary**: £10.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
