**About us**:
UCL is one of the world's top universities. Based in the heart of London, it is a modern, outward-looking institution. The Institute for Risk and Disaster Reduction (IRDR) is an exciting cross-UCL department based in the Faculty of Mathematical & Physical Sciences, which leads research, knowledge exchange and teaching in the fields of risk and disaster reduction and humanitarian action. The role will be part of the core team on Dr Susannah Fisher’s UKRI Future Leaders fellowship. The five-year research programme focuses on how the world is adapting to the impacts of climate change.

**About the role**:
This exciting new role is supporting a high-profile international research programme and will involve supporting work in the international climate negotiations and collaboration with partners in the global South. This role is for three years and will work closely with overseas partners at the African Research and Impact Network in Nairobi and Practical Action Nepal in Kathmandu. The postholder will support Dr Susannah Fisher and the team with managing the grant, organising international events, project communications, and data collation and management. We can offer you a stimulating professional environment and opportunities for professional development. There may be opportunities for international travel to support project policy events. You will receive specialised support to ensure this post gives you the experiences and skills you need for your next step.

**About you**:
Are you interested in working on the impacts of climate change and gaining a range of experiences across project support, event management, communications, and policy engagement? Are you looking for a part-time role you could do alongside your studies or other commitments?
