We have several new and exciting opportunities available within our **Defendant Motor Damage Litigation** team, suitable for experienced claims handlers, either from a legal or insurance background.

These roles can be offered on a either full time and **permanent **or **Fixed Term Contract** basis (Hybrid Working), and can be based from our **Bromley, Birmingham **or** Bristol **office.

**The role**

Reporting to a Team Leader, you will be a part of a small and successful team, defending litigated motor damage claims from receipt of proceedings to settlement or final hearing.

**What you will be doing**

Responsible for managing cases to an effective and satisfactory conclusion within service levels and to a targeted outcome.

Drafting defences, witness statements and instructing counsel where appropriate.

Reviewing evidence and making offers to settle where appropriate.

Delivering clear, accurate and succinct advice within relevant timescales and to manage a portfolio of litigated cases.

Staying abreast of case law and practice.

**What we are looking for**
- Experience in Motor Claims, either from Legal or insurance background is essential
- Analytical skills to be able to interpret information and identify issues.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Experience of collaborating within a high performing team
- Must be able to use own initiative and prioritise to ensure deadlines are met.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexible and adaptable.
- Enthusiastic and passionate about getting the right outcome.
- An appetite for learning and driving on development.

**Contract**: Permanent or Fixed Term Contract

**Location**: Bromley (BR1 1DP), Birmingham (B3 2NU) or Bristol (BS1 6JX)

**Home Working**:Hybrid model (2 days in the office, 3 days from home)

**Working hours**: 35 hour per week (Monday - Friday)
