We’re looking for a Patient Administrator to join The Lister Hospital. Within this role you will provide a ward clerk and admin service to the unit.

**What you’ll do**:

- To welcome people to the ward
- To answer the telephone and take messages
- To assist the Ward with various administrative tasks
- To keep the nurses’ station area tidy and free of clutter
- To organise and prepare admission packs for planned admissions
- Act as the primary point of contact for GPs, ensuring successful delivery of fast-tracking outpatients and imaging appointment services
- Book initial appointments for the required specialty or consultant, coordinating with the contact centre or medical secretaries to ensure prompt confirmation notifications are sent to patients
- Book imaging appointments, send confirmations to patients with necessary leaflets attached, and provide advice on preparation (e.g., fasting times)

**What you’ll bring**:

- Previous Admin experience is essential within healthcare
- Computer literate
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent Customer Service skills
