**Personal Assistant**

**Basic salary of up to £28,000 PA (dependant on experience)**

**Hybrid working, typically 2 days per week from our central Birmingham office and 3 days per week from home (flexibility required)**

**12-month fixed term contract (Maternity cover) - however as a fast-growing business there is potential for a permanent role.**

We have over 600 employees and 170 Wealth Planners who provide wealth management and financial planning services to individuals and corporate clients across the UK via our network of offices. We have also recently become part of the Aviva group.

We now have a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised individual to join us as a Personal Assistant supporting our Executive team. This will be a 12 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave, however as a fast-growing business there is potential for a permanent role.

**The role**

Working as a close-knit team of PA’s, you will be responsible for providing high quality, comprehensive and effective personal assistance to members of Succession’s Executive Team, supporting them to achieve the company’s business development plans and corporate aims.

As a Personal Assistant you will need a flexible and agile approach as no two days will be the same, however regular activities will include:

- Maintaining diaries, to ensure smooth planning of the Executives’ meeting commitments, along with coordination of administrative and travel time required to complement this.
- Co-ordination of meetings, including arranging facilities, and organising catering requirements, preparation of supporting paperwork, including agendas, handouts and minutes. Maintaining communications to ensure participants are kept informed and disseminating relevant information.
- Assisting with Executives’ reporting, ensuring deadlines are adhered to.
- Organising travel arrangements for the Executive Team, taking all transport into consideration and producing informative itinerary.
- Receiving, processing, distributing and filing accurately correspondence and necessary documents.
- Providing when necessary high-quality secretarial service including occasional minute taking at relevant meetings.

**You**

A minimum of 3 years PA, Secretarial or high-level Customer service experience is essential for this role.

To be successful in this role you will need to be confident and comfortable communicating with individuals at all levels, you will need strong attention to detail and a superior working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

You will also need to be able to think on your feet even when the pressure is on and use initiative and your knowledge of the business to make quick decisions when needed.
