A vacancy has arisen for a Business Support Administrator, to join our team at our Barnsley head office.

The role exists to undertake general administration duties as laid out below and support all departments with a range of admin support tasks, as well as administration for framework agreements.

The role-holder will need to communicate directly with staff, customers and suppliers; this requires a professional manner to ensure that the business maintains the key relationships with all stakeholders.

**_ The role briefly encompasses the following duties: - _**
- Answering all incoming telephone calls via the switchboard
- Dealing with incoming and outgoing post, including post office delivery
- Taking minutes of meetings
- Maintaining training records and organizing courses when requested
- Managing hotel bookings and maintaining a record of bookings
- Purchasing and managing office supplies and equipment
- Co-ordinating meeting room bookings and any refreshments
- Inputting timesheets and employee data to relevant time management systems, where required.
- Creating reports as per Client request within the framework contracts
- Documenting information within the framework contracts
- Processing of purchase orders and inputting of relevant data and purchasing system updates
- Supplier approval process - working and liaising with internal departments and external customers
- Support and track quality procedures such as document control.
- Collation of safety statistics
- Preparation and completion of all documentation relevant to company procedures, KPIs and reporting
- Compile reports and briefings when asked to do so, including but not limited to the Group Safety Report, safety briefings and small site financial reports.
- General administration as required
- Conversant in Microsoft Office package, including but not limited to Outlook, Excel and Word
- Good telephone manner
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Literacy and numerical ability.
- Ability to interrogate information, particularly via IT systems and manipulate data to create high quality reports
- Experience in administration (desirable)
- Reactive and proactive approach to tasks
- Good problem solver
- A strong team player
- Excellent time management and organisational skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Able to schedule and prioritise daily tasks and a high level of determination to complete tasks.
- Able to work individually and/or with others.
- Able to learn new skills.
- A keen eye for detail is essential
