**Ways of working**: Hybrid - 2-3 days preferred in the office by Blackfriars station

As the Head of People, you'll be a member of our senior leadership team and report to our CEO. Your main focus will be working with our senior leadership team to establish and define the company’s ways of working to enable 10x performance on the team.

You’ll be responsible for building a culture of high performance, trust and autonomy. You’ll coach our leadership team and be a trusted advisor to evolve our programmes and ways of working. You’ll be a true generalist, owning everything from sourcing and talent management to building our alumni network, and everything in between.

You’ll work closely with our team - understanding their needs and the external market which will help inform the people roadmap.

**Success in the first 3 months looks like**:

- Build rapport with the team and build an understanding of how the various functions work together
- Ensure the teams are aligned, revamp our company cadence by evaluating, recommending and executing on an improved rhythm for our hybrid team
- Grow our team by hiring and onboarding the roles in the hiring plan for 2023
- Build a People roadmap for 2023 and beyond

**Responsibilities**:

- Successfully refine, scale and champion Converge’s culture for the entire company;
- Manage and own the entire recruiting and onboarding process for different areas of the company;
- Act as an advisor and partner to the leadership team to address day-to-day People operational issues and own all related processes;
- Maintain an effective level of business literacy including company goals, mission, financial position, strategy, competition, technology and culture;
- Drive the change management of the organisation, particularly to scale the culture and ways of working as our team grows;
- Ensuring compliance with the latest employment law changes and comfortable working with our lawyers to update and draft all contractor, EoR and employee-related legal documents.

- Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation to ensure regulatory compliance;
- Act as a change agent by anticipating People-related needs and delivering value-added services for the benefit of the team;
- Lead your teams in creating an inviting and cohesive employee experience.
