Great opportunity for an experienced HR individual to join a thriving SME Digital Media company in a busy and varied role. This standalone position will support the business with all aspects of HR and requires an approachable individual who loves a hands-on role whilst also being giving the opportunity to affect change.

This dynamic and entrepreneurial business based in Central London is full of creative and passionate people and although UK based has a global reach and is constantly evolving. The Head of People will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the people function of the business. This includes driving people strategy, leading people processes, evolve employee engagement whilst ensuring compliance.

This is a great role for an individual who likes to take responsibility, has at least 4-5 years HR experience in an all-round role and is looking to work within a vibrant business.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Develop & deliver people management strategies that support the overall strategic aims and objectives of the company, and evolving as required
- Coash, upskill and empower management in all aspects of people management, providing tools and guidance as required
- Involvement in a broad range of projects & programmes to include:

- Talent management & development
- Succession planning & performance
- Performance Management
- Development & training of people, including leadership development
- Reward programmes
- Maintain all employee records
- Manage employee benefits and compensation including negotiating and renewing contracts
- Develop & implements policies and procedures ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
- Manage end to end employee relation cases and drive implementation of recommendations
- Manage the monthly payroll submission process to outsourced provider, dealing with any payroll queries
- Act as strategic advisor to leadership and management to identify and address organisation development needs and advising on all people related aspects of the business
- Work with leadership to develop measures aimed at strengthening and promoting workplace culture in alignments with company values
- Support the business in the recruitment process from initiation through to onboarding and inductions, managing external relationships
- Take lead on people initiatives and projects
- Ownership of the people budget.

**About You**:

- Strong experience in managing the HR/People function ideally within a standalone environment
- Experience gained within a fast paced, entrepreneurial SME business
- Exception communication skills, with the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders across all levels of management
- Excellent interpersonal skills, approachable and confident manner
- Calm under pressure
- Proven ability to partner managers to coach, advise and develop
- Positive, can-do attitude, self-motivated and logical/practical approach
- Excellent knowledge of UK employment legislation
- Confidence to manage complex employee relation cases
- Great presentation skills
- Proactive attitude, able to lead with integrity and a curious mindset.

**Salary**: £60,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
