**Company Information**

You will be working for a long establish organisation based in Denbighshire, Starting in North Wales they have expanded their business within the UK and overseas. Due to current growth they are expanding their Finance Team.

**Main duties**

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be working within an established finance team. Due to the growth within the business, the role is very adaptable and you need to be happy to adapt
- Assist in preparation of month end accounts to a strict timetable
- End to end completion of smaller trading entity accounts, owning full P&L and Balance Sheet
- Prepare/ check all sales invoices by reference to internal information provided
- Preparation of fixed asset register and control account reconciliations
- Setting up bank payments; cash book reconciliations
- Intercompany invoicing and reconciliations
- Assisting with VAT/GST returns and Intrastat submissions
- Support Management Accountants as required with statutory reporting and audit queries
- Support as required in all operational aspects of the department
- Assist in development of new systems and procedures where required
- Assisting with ad hoc information requests from senior management.

**Requirements**:
They are looking for the right team fit, so experience working in a structured finance team will be advantageous.
- AAT level 4 or degree in Accountancy/Finance or working towards CIMA/ACA/ACCA qualification.
- 2+ Years experience of working in finance/accounting role supporting management accounts production.
- Experience of using accounting software.
- Good excel spreadsheet skills, good understanding of basic accounting, methods and management accounts.
- Good communication skills, tenacious with good time management, the ability to prioritise workload and have strong IT skills. VAT return and tax accounting experience.

**Benefits**

Circa 25k, Hours, 9am - 5pm, holidays - 25 days per annum plus bank holidays. Pension and other perks within the business.
