An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a permanent assistant manager for the Patient Booking Centre here at Glan Clwyd Hospital


The successful candidate will have experience in managing staff, recruitment processes, training and leadership. The post holder will provide effective leadership of the central booking team to deliver a highly efficient support service to the Health Board. They will work in collaborative manner with clinicians, managers and colleagues providing an effective and efficient administrative support function.


The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Educated to degree level or equivalent level of work experience and knowledge
GSCE English & Maths
Evidence of continual professional development

Experience of assisting with the management of a service/managing staff
Experience of using spreadsheets / databases
Able to present data and information clearly and accurately
Organisational, time management for self and others, and delegation
Strong commitment to making performance improvements
Change management skills and ability to implement and assist with leading change
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, Word / Excel / Outlook
Experience of waiting list management
Knowledge of Guide to Good Practice and WG and LHB policies in respect of waiting list management
RTT

Knowledge of Data Protection Act
Knowledge of other supporting systems (CITO, Cisco, IRIS)
