Technical Support Officer

3 months contract with a Local Authority in South/Central London._
**Job Summary**:
- To assist the Southwark Cleaning management team in the technical provision, organising and co-ordination of resources by providing all necessary administration support.
**Key Duties/Accountabilities**:
- Provide administrative support to the cleaning, grounds maintenance and tree services.
- Data entry and processing, filing and photocopying.
- Receiving, sorting and distributing post and preparing outgoing post for despatch.
- Inter-office/departmental liaison e.g. providing/getting information from other sections.
- Face to face customer relations and back up cover for the hygiene services team.
- Initiating correspondence where appropriate.
**Essential Experience Required**:
- Knowledge of workplace processes required to maintain recognised performance and quality measurement standards.
- Experience of working in an administrative capacity in either the private or public sector.
- Experience of developing and maintaining efficient office management and records systems and procedures.
- Experience of working within a multi-discipline team
- Ability to produce complex reports and take meeting minutes, (noting key tasks, participants, responsibilities and action points arising from staff, residents or other meetings.)**Additional information to note**:
- Grade: 5
- Contractual hours: 36 hours, Monday to Friday
