- **Position**:
**Overall purpose of job**
- To provide an efficient and effective HR support service to the Leicester site of Go Inspire. To be first line contact on all people related issues and advise and assist line managers and employees with accurate and consistent support ensuring that empathetic and professional support is always given.
- **Main Duties and Targets**
- Manage staff relationships by acting as the first point of contact for line managers and employees and resolve any queries or problems that they have and manage their expectations.
- Take responsibility as the first port of call for all recruitment aspects, including advising line managers and managing the full onboarding process and administration.
- Advise on various HR and employee relation queries throughout the site, including disciplinaries, grievances, appeals, long term sickness, attendance, absence management etc.
- Support line managers with grievance and disciplinary investigations and hearings, escalating to the Chief People Officer where necessary.
- To maintain the company T&A system ensuring all line managers access and input correct data in a timely fashion.
- Ensure appropriate and consistent processes are implemented including record keeping (i.e. personnel records, training, T&A) and the accurate and timely management of new starters and leavers.
- Deliver an efficient and insightful induction programme for new starters and exit programme for leavers, including exit interviews and the recovery of company resources.
- Ensure all appropriate Security (BPSS / DBS) and reference checks are carried out and reviewed when necessary.
- Liaise closely with the finance department with regards to the production of payroll, including information for IR35, P11D, commissions and bonuses etc.
- To manage the relationship with the Occupational Health Provider and arrange all on site appointments and any necessary follow up measures.
- Regularly monitor KPI’s and management information which measure performance and efficiency via the T&A system and HR Data;
- Current headcount and vacant positions
- Staff turnover and retention levels by department
- Staff absenteeism by department, analysed into key areas
- Staff length of service
- Any other relevant KPIs
- To assist the Chief People Officer to monitor, review and update the HR policies, ensuring these are in line with current legislation.
- Support the Chief People Officer with various HR projects and people related initiatives.
- Maintain a long service reward and recognition structure and liaise closely with the Chief People Officer on various employee engagement initiatives.
- Ensuring adherence to the General Data Protection Regulations, the Immigration and Asylum Act, Anti-Slavery, Anti Bribery and all other relevant legal requirements and always look for ways to streamline the process, whilst maintaining high accuracy and control.
- Review and highlight any solutions for improvements that can be made to the HR support service and administration.
- Undertake any other reasonable tasks and responsibilities as requested by the Chief People Officer.
