It's an exciting time at the Croft, as we have an opening for a Night Care Team Leader to join our team. This is a permanent position working 20 hours a week.

We have a fantastic opportunity for an individual looking to join a supportive encouraging organisation. The Croft Care home is looking for a Night Care Team Leader, who will make a difference in our resident’s lives, and in return have access to opportunitiesfor development and learning in a supportive environment.

The Croft Care Home is a community based residential Care Home in Amersham. We provide a diverse range of care and support services for our residents.

The Croft Care Home provides a compassionate, friendly, supportive, and welcoming home away from home environment with regular and varied activities. Events and outings are also organised regularly.

**Our Night Care Team Leader Duties Will Consist Of:
- To ensure that systems are in place to enable staff to be supervised and supported appropriately
- Respecting the values, culture, and beliefs of everyone
- Minimising and assessing risks to keep each individual safe
- Mentoring and coaching staff
- Ensuring that any complaints, concerns, or requests are responded to effectively and timely
- To develop a person-centre team that makes a real difference to people’s lives
- To ensure that the best interests of each person we support are the centre of any decisions made about their life, and to work in partnership with them, their advocates, family, friends and significant others

**Our Night Care Team Leader’s Skills and Experience
- To be organised
- Experience in supporting adults in a care setting or in the community
- To be able to undertake a flexible working pattern
- Experience in working with vulnerable people or those with complex needs as well as having experience and/or passion for enhancing individual’s quality of life through positive behaviour support
- Good communication skills, patience, and flexibility
- An understanding of person
- centred support and safeguarding
- Have an NVQ L3 Health & Social Care, or relevant qualification
- To support the management and take the lead in service delivery, you will be expected to carry out daily tasks as well as senior duties
- Have supervisory/management experience
- Flexibility a ‘can do’ attitude and a sense of humour is a must too as well as being able to work independently and a as part of a team
