**Job Description: Band 5 RMN (Temporary)**:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Band 5 RMN to join our dedicated team at the Airedale Centre for Mental Health, located at Airedale General Hospital in Steeton, West Yorkshire. This is a temporary position with a start date of 09/02/2024 and an end date of 09/02/2024.

As a Band 5 RMN, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care for individuals with mental health needs. Your primary responsibility will be to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to patients, working as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Your shift will start at 07:30:00 and end at 20:00:00, allowing you to make a significant impact on the lives of those in need during your 12-hour shift. In return for your dedication and expertise, we are offering a competitive payment rate of £200 per shift, which will be paid through PAYE.

Key responsibilities of the Band 5 RMN include:

- Conducting assessments of patients' mental health needs and developing appropriate care plans.
- Administering medication and monitoring its effectiveness and side effects.
- Delivering therapeutic interventions and treatments to promote recovery and wellbeing.
- Monitoring and evaluating the progress of patients, adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Providing emotional support and counseling to patients and their families.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality is maintained at all times.
- Participating in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.

To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following:

- A valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse.
- Demonstrated experience working within a mental health setting, preferably in an acute care environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, allowing you to prioritize and manage a diverse caseload.
- An empathetic and non-judgmental approach to patient care, respecting their individual needs and preferences.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team, contributing positively to a collaborative and supportive working environment.
