Are you a dedicated and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse looking for a temporary opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients at Airedale Mental Health Unit? Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 5 RMN to join our team on the specified dates.

Located in the picturesque surroundings of Steeton, Keighley, West Yorkshire, the Airedale Mental Health Unit provides essential care and support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges. As a Band 5 RMN, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, person-centered care to our patients.

During your shift, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care of assigned patients. This may involve administering medication, conducting therapeutic interventions, and providing emotional support to individuals in need. Your ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members is essential for ensuring the best possible outcomes for those under your care.

As a Band 5 RMN, you must possess a valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration and demonstrate a commitment to upholding professional standards of practice. Your previous experience working in a mental health setting will be advantageous in this role, as you will be required to navigate complex situations and handle challenging behaviors with empathy and understanding.

Working the night shift from 19:30 to 08:00, you will need to be alert, proactive, and able to respond quickly to any emergencies or changes in patient conditions. Your ability to remain calm under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively will be vital in ensuring the safety and well-being of everyone in the unit.
