Manufacturing Stores Person/ Buyer - Darley Dale
Monday - Friday 7:30am-4pm
Our client, is a market leader in the provision of Integrated Stores and Supply Chain Management Solutions for Blue Chip Companies in the UK and Europe. We're looking for a confident a Stores person/ buyer to work on one of their client's stores based in DarleyDale, Matlock
As a Stores person/ Buyer you will work within a fast-paced environment, with the ability to manage multiple tasks whilst maintaining a professional approach, ensuring effective communication at all times with vendors and suppliers. A background gained in busyengineering and manufacturing or corporate environments would be beneficial.
**About the role**
- Source ad hoc stock and/or non-stock items on request of the client
- Issue stock products to the client
- Conduct rotational stock checks, record stock locations and record stock adjustments as required
- Assist the client in the selection of goods and to advise of alternative products where appropriate to negotiate cost reductions
- Liaise directly with the Procurement department with respect to additional product information where necessary
- Process orders as required with the correct procedure
- Liaise with customers to resolve any invoice queries
- Support with the expediting of all outstanding purchase orders when required
- Liaise directly with customers in receipt of direct orders to confirm the delivery of goods and to update records on SAP accordingly
- Establish and maintain rapport with the Client and all levels of Supplier personnel and Contractors

**About you**
- Previous experience as a buyer/engineer in an engineering or manufacturing environment highly desirable
- Self-motivated together with a positive attitude to deliver excellent Client experience and satisfaction
- Effective decision making and problem solving skills through sound intuition and reasoning
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong ICT skills with proficient use of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel (SAP experience desirable but not essential)
