**Position** Due to expansion, we are looking for an experienced sales professional to join the Wine Division to deliver commercial growth across key revenue streams. The Wine portfolio at William Reed includes International Wine Challenge, IWC Industry Awards, Canopyand World’s Best Vineyards. Working within your sales territory you will contact and pitch international wine producers and Drinks Trade to enter, sponsor or advertise across the portfolio. This thriving and exciting role is challenging, fast paced and willsuit an individual who is tenacious and hungry for sales.

Reporting to the Partnership Director to expand and deliver the commercial opportunities including entry, digital revenue, and sponsorship across the wine portfolio:

- Canopy fortnightly newsletter
- International Wine Challenge global entries and Sponsorship
- IWC Industry Awards
- World’s Best Vineyards
- World’s Best Sommeliers’ Selection global entries and Sponsorship

**Requirements** **Key Responsibilities**:
Clients
- Foster and develop effective client relationships including the management of blue-chip key accounts providing a complete service from sale to ensuring delivery.
- Identify and build relationships with leading associations in the market.
- Consistently engage with the market by way of face-to-face meetings, events, and exhibitions with a view to raising your profile in the market and extending your market knowledge
- Promote IWC across the industry by client meetings and attending industry events
- Overseas travel if required

Sales
- Manage the wine entries and revenue generation for IWC and World’s Best Sommeliers’ Selection delivering budgeted revenue for each competition year and ensuring completed sales process prior to event.
- Create sales and sponsorship documents
- Demonstrate full product and competitor knowledge and effective use of this knowledge in relationships with clients and prospective clients.

**Required Skills and Experience**:

- Previous digital sales and sponsorship experience
- Proven track record of successful sales
- Strong new business developer
- Exceptional face to face presentation skills, and telephone manner.
- Ability to develop complex sales packages, campaign structuring
- Personable and professional individual
- Highly organised with good time management skills
- Pro-active team player
