Project Admin Assistant - Hybrid Working
**Your new company**
Hays are delighted to be partnered exclusively with a public sector organisation based in Glasgow. Due to growth, they are seeking a Project Admin Assistant to join their team, on a permanent basis. Your working hours will be Monday to Friday 9am-5pm (flexibilitycan be offered around this) and he position offers Hybrid working, currently operating at 4 days per week from home and 1 day in the office.
**Your new role**
- Provide administrative support to the project team, including scheduling meetings, maintaining project documentation, and tracking project progress
- Provide advice on finance processes including purchasing, procurement, and expenses policies
- Manage appropriate expenses processes relating to Project activities including foreign payment claims
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of project-related reports and presentations
- To attend and minute project related meetings as required
- Support the project team with research and data analysis as needed
- Provide travel planning, diary management and timesheet recording support.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to demonstrate the competencies required to undertake the duties associated with this level of post having acquired the necessary knowledge and skills in a similar role. OR Scottish Credit and Qualification Framework level 7
- Practice-based knowledge of establishing and delivering a comprehensive range of administrative services within a project or team environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience with project management software is a plus
- Experience in a similar role for a minimum of 2 years Is essential
- Experience of working with financial information sufficient to analyse financial data and transactions, monitor budgets and report financial details is essential.
- Knowledge of governance and business processes in a large complex organisation
