**SPORT WELFARE MANAGER**

**CHARITY**

**£32,000 (Fixed Term Contract 3 years)**

**Remote and Office based**

**37 hours per week, to include evenings and weekends**

Are you a Sport Welfare Manager passionate about the transformative power of sport and exercise, committed to creating safer environments for children and young people across Lincolnshire? Want to work with a great, friendly charity organisation to promote change in the lives of others?

If you are from an Education, Police, Local Authority or perhaps Leisure Industry background, and have a desire to make a difference for Lincolnshire’s children and young people working with national governing bodies of sport and sports clubs in Lincolnshire, then this could be a great opportunity for you.

The Sport Welfare Manager will have a strong understanding of safeguarding and welfare practices and be able to collaborate with stakeholders. You will be a self-starter, able to manage your own workload with little direction, who enjoys working throughout the County of Lincolnshire.

**Key responsibilities Sport Welfare Manager**:

- Work with Community Clubs/Stakeholders to deliver sport to young people
- Conduct reviews of existing policies and programs
- Promote welfare practices, ensure safe club environments for all participants
- Provide training for Club Welfare Officers
- Work with local agencies to resolve safeguarding concerns
- Regular communication with Club Welfare Officers attend events to raise awareness of welfare and safeguarding issues
- Ensure equality and diversity policies are adopted
- Represent the Charity at regional and national meetings, assessing the impact of case studies

**Personal specification Sport Welfare Manager**:

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A passion for community welfare and a commitment to making a difference
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and build lasting partnerships
- Highly organised with ability to manage your own schedule
- Enhanced DBS check
- Driving licence and own transport (mileage paid)
