Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and committed Unqualified Teacher to join our team at Empowering Learning Ltd. As an Unqualified Teacher, you will provide cover for absent teaching staff and facilitate learning for Key Stage 3 and 4 students.

This role is ideal for individuals who are thinking about teacher training in the future. We are looking for someone with a calm temperament, excellent communication skills, and high levels of personal organisation.

The successful candidate will have the ability to work professionally under pressure, meet deadlines, and operate flexibly to ensure maximum progress and outcomes for learners.

What We Are Looking For:
  • Ideal experience working with children in various contexts: sports coaching, camp counselling, or private tutoring.
  • An undergraduate degree in a specific subject (e.g., Chemistry, Physical Education, Geography) is highly desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills and a high level of personal organisation.
  • Able to differentiate work according to individual needs when appropriate.

We expect all staff to demonstrate commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and safety of children and young people.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
