About the Role

Aspire People is partnering with a school catering to pupils aged 6-16 in Lincoln. We're seeking enthusiastic candidates eager to begin a career in education as a Trainee Teaching Assistant, working with children with Special Educational Needs or Social, Emotional, Mental Health.

If you're passionate about supporting children's educational journeys and enhancing your skills, this is an excellent opportunity. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting students with academic, social, and emotional development through individual attention and guidance.
  • Supporting students with special educational needs by adapting teaching methods to meet their unique requirements.

We require:

  • A DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Recent experience working with children, young adults, or those with Special Educational Needs.

Salary: £25,000 per annum (approximately). Aspire People is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils; all candidates must share this commitment. Placements are subject to Child Protection screening, including checks with former employers and Disclosure and Barring Checks.
