DESCRIPTION DU POSTE

Assystem is currently recruiting for a Training and Competency coordinator to join our busy team based from Aztec West, Bristol, supporting the teams of engineers working on the prestigious Hinkley Point C project.

As Training and Competency Coordinator you will be expected to undertake a variety of tasks, including supporting and coordinating activities around training and competency, to ensure that the CommOps (Commissioning & Operations) Programme has a competent and highly skilled workforce, i.e., via the production of training records, management of the training development schedule, and adherence to appropriate governance measures.

Key deliverables for coordination of the CommOps competency arrangements and data include:

- Supervision of the CommOps’ teams training and competency data management process, to ensure accurate data and records are being maintained
- Creation and improvement of existing tracking and reporting tools (such as Excel analysis spreadsheets and PowerBI dashboards) as the CommOps Training & Competence scope changes throughout the HPC project’s activities
- Support for the development of Role and Training Profiles, which outline the key responsibilities, activities, and competencies of the Role Holders, in line with the Capability Schedule
- Development of Qualification and Training Records, which outline the mandatory training, reading, and competency assessments required of the Role Holders, in line with the Capability Schedule
- Engagement with Subject Matter Experts across HPC and the CommOps’ Programme to ensure the correct requirements are captured in the above documents
- Identification of both internal and external training requirements to satisfy the CommOps Programme activity-led competency requirements
- Maintenance of the CommOps Programme’s Role and Training Development Capability Schedule, ensuring good change control, and identification and mitigation of risks
- Engagement with the Nuclear Skills Alliance, the developers of the CommOps Programme’s internal training, to ensure development of rewarding training to time and budget
- Rigorous data management of the CommOps Competency Framework to ensure any changes to competencies and the associated mandatory training, and/or directed reading, are noted and updated within the linked documentation and re-issued to the applicable role holders

PROFIL
- Very proficient in Excel, allowing for the:

- Creation and maintenance of datasets to track records, training completions, individual and department competence progress and progress of other deliverables
- Ability to use formulae to run analysis on the data to generate statistics and monitor any trends or issues
- Development of reports to present the above in a clear and concise manner, including production of graphs, tables, and other visual aids
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, ability to understand governance and process, and maintain accurate data
- Self-starter and problem-solving abilities. Able to communicate with multiple stakeholders effectively, identifying and mitigating potential risks
