Inside Sales Representative

The Inside Sales Representative will play a fundamental role in achieving our growth objectives by generating revenues by developing new leads, communicating and understanding the needs of our customers while ensuring a smooth sales process.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Liaise with Finance on credit & payment status of accounts;
- Ensure timely communication with customers on status of orders;
- Ensure all systems are updated and aligned (M1 / Salesforce) regularly;
- Process orders, prepare and issue quotations and proforma’s; follow-up with existing and new customers for order coverage.
- Book stock into M1 finance package;
- Arrange shipments from our warehouse in Netherlands and office in Belfast;
- Liaise with global operations team on the status of order preparation; liaise with operations on incoming inventory versus forecast plan;
- Forecast demand and accurately maintain data in Salesforce based on sales team feedback;
- Prepare weekly and monthly Report generation from various systems for management review;
- Return Material request processing and point of escalation;
- Complete new lead review, make commercial assessment, escalation and distribution to sales team where required; support outside sales efforts when required.
- Complete technical proposals to customers for system solution in line with Applications Engineering; liaise with Applications Engineering on new and existing business.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications and Key Competencies**:
- Related technical degree or diploma is an asset;
- 3 years sales experience;
- Results focused and deadline driven ensuring that tasks are prioritized, diarized, actioned, reviewed and follow-up in a timely manner;
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills;
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written;
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment;
- Strong problem solving and negotiating and influencing skills;
- Proactive ability to seeks areas of improvement, allocates time and resources accordingly;
- Flexible and adaptable; willing to assist the team with tasks outside normal scope of responsibility with the common goal of revenue growth for maximum benefit;
- Strong proficiency in MS Office suite and CRM experience.
