**The Role**

Joining Aptia in a newly created role as Head of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), you will play a pivotal role in driving financial performance and strategic decision making across the organisation at a Group level. You will lead a small, global team, responsible for providing expert financial insights, and guide the commercial finance function to support business objectives effectively.

The role will be hybrid working from our offices located near Bank/Liverpool Street.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Strategic Financial Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive financial planning processes aligned with Aptia’s business goals.
- Performance Analysis: Lead insightful analysis of financial results and operational metrics to drive informed decision-making.
- Business Partnering: Collaborate closely with senior executives to support financial objectives and address challenges.
- Management Information: Deliver clear and concise financial presentations to stakeholders, board members, and investors.
- Risk Management: Identify financial risks and opportunities, recommending appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Investment Analysis: Evaluate investment opportunities and support strategic capital allocation decisions.
- Process Improvement: Enhance FP&A processes and reporting tools for increased efficiency and actionable insights.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and develop a high-performing team of FP&A professionals.
- Financial Compliance: Ensure adherence to accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Drive initiatives across finance and business functions to achieve collective financial objectives.

**Here’s what we’re looking for**:

- Someone comfortable with the balance of strategic responsibility as well as getting get stuck into the detail - from creating processes for new function to producing MI and establishing set deliverables.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and analysis.
- Strong problem-solving skills with strategic recommendation capabilities.
- Experience with enterprise-level financial systems and data analytics tools.
- Proven track record of team management and collaboration.
