Head of Financial Planning

A renowned and historic children's charity is currently in need of a new Head of Financial Planning & Analysis to join it's established finance team and lead on strategic elements of finance including budget setting and working with the wider organisationto inform decision making. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accountant with a strong background in finance business partnering to join a friendly and welcoming organisation within an important role that will offer exposure to senior leadershipincluding the CEO and board, and have a real influence on the fortunes of the organisation.
**As the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis your role will involve**:
- Leading a team three finance business partners made up of qualified and part-qualified accountants and providing support across the organisation
- Leading on annual budget setting and working with the Finance Director on finance strategy
- Ensuring an efficient month-end process is delivered regularly
- Working closely with senior leadership across the organisation to advise them on finance matters and influence and inform decision making
- Be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA or equivalent)
- Have strong experience business-partnering senior non-finance stakeholders
- Have a passion for supporting vulnerable children
