**THE JOB**:

- To provide professional 1:1 support and supervision for pupils aged between 11-18, encouraging their engagement in the learning process and working towards agreed aims and objectives
- To plan, deliver and evidence sections of individual learning programmes to pupils
- To implement strategies to support pupils with Special Educational Needs to access learning throughout the school day, building rapport and being a trusted adult
- To provide specific and targeted support, depending on individual pupil needs, ensuring safety whilst supporting access to learning activities
- To support vulnerable young people helping to improve their emotional wellbeing raise their aspirations to learn and support them in achieving their potential

**THE PERSON**:

- Good general standard of education (GCSE Grade 4 in English and Maths or equivalent)
- Experience of working with vulnerable young people displaying a range of diverse needs and with all levels of challenging behaviour
- The genuine desire to make a positive difference and contribution to the lives of young people
- High levels of motivation, commitment and enthusiasm
- Experience within an SEN setting an advantage
- Ability to drive

**SALARY**:
£22,120 - £23,940 per annum dependent on qualifications and experience. This is the actual salary you will receive as you will be paid all year round including the school holidays

**WORKING HOURS**:
Full-time | Monday to Friday between 8.45am and 4.45pm.
