Youth Support Worker

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Graduate to join our team as a Learning Support Assistant at Academics Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in supporting children with social, emotional, and mental health challenges.
This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate who wants to gain valuable experience working with vulnerable students, developing their skills in mentoring and guidance.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing individualized support to pupils with complex needs, helping them to make positive choices and develop essential life skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support to students with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop effective support plans
- Assist students with learning tasks and activities to promote engagement and progress
Requirements:
- Degree in Criminology or Psychology (or related field)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with challenging behaviors
- Knowledge of SEMH principles and practices
Benefits:
