**Life on the team**

Our Procurement and Contracts teams are involved in the full lifecycle of our contracts, resources and tools enabling seamless ordering practices and processes, through to governance controls around our contracts and supply chain demands. We aim to build efficiencies, cost savings and active engagement from both our partners and supply chains to deliver an efficient service into you, our customers.

We work across our multiple organisation structures from Sourcing, Compliance and Legal so you don't have to, therefore ensuring a single point of contact to ensure that we are obtaining the best pricing whilst remaining compliant with our Internal policies and Legal obligations.

As part of this busy team, you’ll be working with our vendors and a number of internal stakeholders and supporting our Vendor Managers.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in a vendor/supplier facing environment to join a friendly and supportive team - that offers the opportunity to work towards a Vendor Management position.

**What you’ll do**
- Supporting managing and enhancing the working relationship with partners and suppliers
- Supporting for working with key stakeholders to ensure practical execution of renewal contractual commitments
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to issue management for renewals and vendor administration
- Supporting tracking, measuring, reporting and evaluating supplier performance
- Ensure collaborative continuous improvement is followed throughout the contract lifecycle
- Compiling management information reports through relevant business tools to provide accurate/up to date data
- Prioritise and co-ordinate own and others work schedules to ensure that business and customer needs are met and deadlines are adhered to
- Assess cost implication of best solution to ensure adherence to budget constraints
- Coordinate small teams delivering basic work packages in line with company process to meet business and customer requirements
- Ensure that operational documentation is fit for purpose and current to meet customer and contract requirements
- Develop best practice procedures and guidelines, including analysing, documenting and reporting on work completed to ensure consistent compliance to company procedures
- Provides specialist guidance and advice to less experienced colleagues to ensure consistent approach
- Provide customer service to internal and external customers to ensure consistent experience
- Able to communicate on complex issues to meet business and customer requirements to avoid escalations
- Evaluate escalations and resolve appropriately to ensure customer demands are met
- Ability to adapt quickly to dynamic team environments to maintain consistent effective contribution.

**What you’ll need**
- Experience of working in a vendor/supplier facing role (ideally in the Technology industry)
- Commercial awareness - able to confidently communicate with vendors
- Experience of relevant business systems e.g. SAP
- Good working Knowledge of Microsoft Applications
- Plans & organises own workload
- Proven experience of high standards of customer service
- Good administrative experience, attention to detail, ensures accuracy of data, provides data for reporting and processing of information
- Excellent Interpersonal, literacy and numeracy skills and ability to build relationships at all levels
- Works under general supervision. Uses discretion
- Demonstrates analytical and systematic approach to resolving complex problems and assignments
- Takes initiative in identifying and negotiating appropriate development opportunities.
