**Community Engagement Lead (up to £35,000)**

**About the role**

As Community Engagement Lead, you will report into the Head of Community Growth and your role will be to grow our organic social media communities, discover new audiences and to manage these interactions aiming to increase brand reach, build authority, drive brand presence and grow followership. You will utilise social listening and competitor monitoring, build communities and manage relationships with our followers, deliver insights and feedback, call out for and share UGC, manage competitions and giveaways, collaborate with partners and 3rd parties.

**As a Community Engagement Lead you will;**
- Locate and engage new audiences
- Seek out fandoms, communities and conversations, and be part of them
- Manage competitions and social events
- Start conversations with content designed for engagement
- Respond to follower's comments
- Feed insights to the team from audiences
- Feed insights back to the community
- Find and liaise with influencers
- Discover audiences
- Promote brand, values and products
- Identify areas of growth for community development, in order to reach our audiences in the places where they are likely to interact
- Be commercial - think of ways to drive revenue through our current and future communities
- Handle day-to-day community moderation for Good Food and Radio Times
- Work closely with other teams, including brand, legal and PR, to ensure issues are resolved as efficiently and proactively as possible
- Feed into editorial and marketing planning, sharing ideas for content creation based on feedback you will hear

**Requirements**:

- A strong understanding of social and digital communities, and experience in growing and expanding those communities
- Experience of using social listening and content management platforms
- Highest standard of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal communication and writing skills
- Ability to create made-for-social content (static and video)
- Expertise in social media platforms and cultures, ways of speaking, content formats, memes and trends
- Ability to keep up with the ever-changing world of social media - a trend watcher with their finger on the pulse of culture
- A passion for providing excellent service to customers of Immediate’s brands
- Creative thinker - having the ability to spot opportunities and either develop them on your own, or through engaging others to produce new and relevant content
- Flexibility to work outside of office hours
- A keen interest in food and entertainment
