**Job Summary**:
The Assistant Director of Communications will support the strategic communication efforts of DevComNow, ensuring effective messaging and brand consistency across all platforms. This role involves collaborating with various departments to create and manage content, oversee public relations activities, and enhance the company's internal and external communication strategies.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Public Relations**:
Assist in managing media relations, including writing and distributing press releases and handling media inquiries.
Develop and maintain relationships with key media contacts.
Coordinate and oversee press events, conferences, and other media-related activities.
**Internal Communications**:
Work with HR and other departments to develop and disseminate internal communications that keep employees informed and engaged.
Manage internal communication platforms and tools to facilitate effective information flow within the organization.
**Strategic Planning**:
Assist the Director of Communications in developing and implementing comprehensive communication strategies.
Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of communication strategies and adjust plans as needed.
Support crisis communication efforts as required.
**Social Media Management**:
Oversee the company's social media presence, including content creation, scheduling, and engagement.
Analyze social media metrics and develop strategies to improve engagement and reach.
**Event Coordination**:
Plan and execute company events, including product launches, conferences, and community outreach initiatives.
Ensure events are aligned with the company's communication objectives and brand image.
**Team Leadership and Development**:
Supervise communication staff and interns, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
**Qualifications**:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Experience in crisis communication and media relations.
Proficiency in using communication tools and platforms (e.g., CMS, social media management tools).
