Princess Cruises is back sailing the world and with 15 ships sailing to over 330 destinations worldwide, this means that our business is expanding We are recruiting for a Director
- Marketing & Communications based in the UK to join our Marketing team ona fixed term basis.

For at least two days a week, you’ll be based out of our fantastic offices in the heart of Southampton, less than two hours from central London. In our hybrid working environment, you can also expect to balance this with time spent working remotely everyweek. Overseas travel will occasionally be required.

**The Role**

The Marketing & Communications department communicates the brand and commercial requirements of the business to the consumer and media in order to support the overarching business revenue. In addition, the department provides meaningful analysis and insightsto support the business with making the best decision. The two customer focused Marketing teams work closely together to promote the world’s #1 premium cruise line across a range of marketing channels.

You will be responsible for initiating and overseeing the successful implementation of the evolving Princess Cruises marketing and communications strategies including public relations, appropriate to the changing marketplace, to deliver the short
- and longer-termcommercial goals of the business.
- Initiating and overseeing the successful implementation of powerful yet cost-effective online and offline marketing communications
- Optimizing the use of a multi-million-pound promotional budget to aid delivery of the strategic and tactical business objectives of targeted passengers.
- Leading the development of the public relations strategy for Princess Cruises across UK and Europe and developing relationships with key journalists
- Leading the CRM campaign strategy, based on customer insight to help develop closer relationships with our customers.
- Staffing, managing and motivating the Marketing & Communications team members and overseeing the recruitment and management of outside agencies
- Collaborating closely with the sales, commercial and guest functions of the UK and Europe business to achieve the common commercial and service objectives.
- Working in collaboration with the global head office to ensure best practice and consistency in approach to our customer communications.

- Marketing & Communications you will also need:

- Previous experience of operating at Director level, leading a Marketing & Communications Department (overseeing CRM, advertising, both online and offline, and a marketing services studio)
- Team leadership, marketing and public relations skills.
- CRM system understanding.
- Relevant legislative understanding.
