**Salary**:£12.60 per hour plus £60 sleep-in rate (2on 4off shift pattern)

**Qualifications Required**:

- Level 3 or 4 Children and Young Peoples Workforce or equivalent
- 2 years’ experience supporting young people in a children’s residential setting

**About the Role**:
Our client, a Regional Children’s Home provider, is seeking a dedicated Children's Residential Team Leader for a residential setting. This role involves supporting young people on a 1:1 or 2:1 staffing ratio, providing care and support to children and young people aged 8-17 with complex backgrounds, challenging behaviour, and emotional and behavioural difficulties.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and plan the team during shifts
- Act as the lead practitioner on shift, mentoring and supporting new team members.
- Conduct supervision and report progress or difficulties to Higher Management.
- Update on progress or difficulties about staff or young people and advise if management intervention is required.
- Act as a Key worker when necessary, taking on responsibility for specified areas of care and support.
- Ensure all medical needs are met and support the young person to advocate for their own needs and wishes.
- Provide advice, assistance, and support to young people attending to their practical, physical, and emotional needs.
