At Exceptional Care we are looking for energetic and caring child care workers to join our teams on a permanent basis who are passionate and committed and have experience working with young people. Our adventure team is based along the Lancashire canal in our brand new cottage.

This is a great experience and perfect for someone who likes the outdoors, activities and enjoys the challenge of working directly with children and young people.

Your Role

You will be supporting young people from complex backgrounds, with High Risk Challenging Behaviour, EBD and Learning/Behavioural Difficulties, providing advice, assistance and support to young people and to attend to their practical, physical and emotional needs.

As an Adventure Support Worker, day to day, sailing of the barge you will be engaging in activities, promoting Independent skills, education and cooking.

Required
- Level 3 in Residential Childcare is preferred but not essential
- 12 months experience working with young people
- Driving Licence, required to use a company car while on shift
