We are currently seeking a highly skilled Fire Safety Advisor on behalf of an esteemed NHS Trust located in East London. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable organisation and contribute to the safety and well-being of healthcare facilities.
The position offers a competitive rate of £39 per hour via an umbrella company, based on a 37.5-hour workweek. Initially, this role will be for a duration of 6 months with a strong possibility of extension. Immediate availability is desired.
**Responsibilities**:
- Conduct fire safety training programs to educate staff members on emergency procedures and fire prevention techniques.
- Perform comprehensive fire risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate closely with the estates department to implement effective fire safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation of fire safety assessments, training records, and incident reports.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience working within the NHS or a healthcare setting, demonstrating a strong understanding of fire safety protocols.
- Thorough knowledge of HTM-05-02s and other relevant fire safety regulations and guidelines.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively train and educate staff members on fire safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to conduct comprehensive risk assessments.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Possession of relevant fire safety certifications and qualifications is highly desirable.
