This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate,energetic and enthusiastic person to join Houghton Regis Town Council’s well established team in this new role.

**The Search**

We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated, highly personable individual with excellent communication skills, and an enthusiasm for developing and supporting the councils youth services.

**The Team**

Houghton Regis Town Council offers their employees the tools and training to complete their work efficiently. Our dedicated team and officers are proactive and able to make informed decisions based on industry knowledge and expertise. They are self-starters who are able to manage their time effectively and work with others collaboratively, using excellent communication skills to develop effective working relationships with colleagues, contractors and, most importantly, our residents and councillors.

**The Applicant**

As a natural motivator for young people with good communication skills and a caring, nurturing and supportive attitude, you will have demonstrable experience in delivering youth based projects and initiatives whilst always striving for continuous improvement. You will engage and empower young people to embrace new challenges through collaborative relationships and clear leadership.

You will have demonstrable experience of managing a small team, youth project work and partnership working. You’ll be a able to effectively prioritise your own workload and remain calm under pressure. You must be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
