Quality Support Administrator

The post holder will work closely with the Lead Nurse, Quality and Professional Standards, to provide administrative support. This can include: to support and deliver quality management processes in line with the requirements of the Trust quality work streams. This is achieved by providing technical and administrative support using the quality management information systems, to schedule meetings, arranging visits and panels, preparing papers, taking minutes, monitoring follow-up actions and distributing papers and supporting diaries management, and by supporting colleagues and external staff with quality processes, and answering information queries.
As part of the role you will work alongside the Service Administrators for Nursing, Patient Safety and Quality providing secretariat support as required. This involves the use of appropriate technologies and equipment to provide an efficient, effective, comprehensive and timely secretarial and administration service, whilst maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
Co-ordinate and monitor the quality management processes ensuring all requirements are met and systems are kept up to date. This includes coordinating participants for outstanding quality initiatives’, completion of documentation and uploading results, scheduling visits, accreditations, organising panels, award ceremonies, supporting the Celebrating Excellence event and monitoring follow-up action.
Supporting the Service Administrators for Nursing, Patient Safety and Quality with all secretariat duties for senior staff within the Patient Safety, Quality and Clinical Governance teams.

- Undertake various day to day duties to provide a timely and high quality administrative support service to all team members which meets all departmental and organisational requirements.
- Be fully conversant with and adhere to all work related policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Use all appropriate technologies and equipment to assist in the provision of an efficient, effective and comprehensive administrative service.
- Ensure that all work outputs are produced to the highest standard of quality that meets all of the organisations requirements for Information Governance, GDPR, RMS and CGC and which is compliant with all associated national, regional and local policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Ensure adherence to all Trust requirements relating to personal responsibilities, behaviours, conduct and performance within the workplace.
- Ensure a ‘whole team’ approach to the provision of the administrative service, by supporting and providing assistance and cover for work colleagues as and when required
- Participate in any/all associated training, development and appraisal processes relevant to post.
