As a Head of Creative you will work as part of the Product Development department responsible for creating the most desirable products by using the most efficient processes while generating a comfortable margin. You will be working closely with the Product Development Project Manager, with a focus on the visual and conceptual aspects of product design.

**THE ROLE**
- Generate clear ideas and concepts
- Produce sketches, mood boards, roughs to visualize ideas
- Understand and follow marketing initiatives, strategic positioning and target audience set by the Marketing and Product Director
- Art direct every product/project that the company creates
- Cooperate with the rest of the creative team
- Take work from concept to final execution within deadlines
- Manage and delegate responsibilities to other designers and provide directions
- Train and elevate our junior designers providing insight and sharing experience
- Present completed ideas to stakeholders
- Research the artistic direction of new licenses that the company acquires
- Stay on top of all trends and maintain best practices

**PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Responsible for the company’s artistic output
- Training and elevating our junior artists
- Up to date with trends
- Create innovative and in brand concepts

**EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS**
- Proven working experience as an artist
- Hands on experience with product design, typography, colour, layout design, print production, image selection and package design
- Proficient use of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design software
- Demonstrable product design skills with a strong portfolio
- Incorporate feedback and take/give direction well
- Team player with strong communication and presentation skills
- Relevant education or training
