**The Opportunity**:
As our **Product Owner**, you will actively participate, design, and optimize the product throughout all stages of the development cycle from initial concept to product release, ensuring functionality, quality, and schedule.

You will work closely with Product Managers, department heads, sales, technical support and other stakeholders to extract and translate high-level business and customer requirements into technical working documents and deliverables.

This is a hybrid role based in our **Cambridge** **office, so you will ideally be comfortable coming into the office once or twice a week. If you’re interested in the role but require more flexibility, please speak to us

**Day to Day**:

- Break down and prioritize deliverables for the Engineering team(s) through the creation of epics, stories and tasks
- Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
- Work closely with Engineering teams on a day-to-day basis, participate in daily stand ups, sprint planning & sprint retrospective meetings
- Work with the Product Manager(s) to create Impact Assessments so the business can prioritise work with full visibility of downstream deliverables
- Collaborate with Senior Product Manager(s) to derive data analytics & reporting
- Contribute to the big-picture at a strategic level as well as focus on the details when it comes to implementation and execution

**About you**:
**Must haves**:

- Experience in cloud technology, hosting or managed services deployments and scaling those services
- Ability to implement best practices in an Agile environment including different measures of product discovery, including quantitative (e.g., A/B testing) and qualitative (e.g., usability testing) methods
- Experience managing a portion of the product lifecycle
- Hands-on experience with web technologies
- Strong time management skills
- Great communication skills, written and verbal

**Great to haves**:

- Knowledge and/or interest in FinTech
- Previous experience of interfacing between Engineering and Product teams
- Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
