**The Opportunity**:
As our **Product Owner,** you will work closely with Product Managers, department heads, sales, technical support, and other stakeholders to extract and translate high-level business and customer requirements into technical working documents and deliverables.

This is a hybrid role based in our **Cambridge or London** **office, so you will ideally be comfortable coming into the office once or twice a week. If you’re interested in the role but require more flexibility, please speak to us

**Day to Day**:

- Lead Scrum teams to define product vision, roadmap and growth opportunities and communicate with stakeholders
- Be the voice of the customer throughout design and build phases
- Work with external and internal stakeholders to analyse and align needs to strategic goals and ROI
- Maintain and plan the product backlog to ensure alignment to stakeholder needs and business value
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate vision, priorities, and progress
- Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure work aligns with product strategy
- Be an active participant in all scrum ceremonies
- Break down and prioritize deliverables for the Engineering team(s) through the creation of features, epics and stories.
- Communicate effectively and efficiently across all aspects of the product delivery
- Plan and coordinate product releases, considering factors such as feature dependencies, resource availability, and market timing
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the product and adjust strategies accordingly
- Align with architecture and software leadership on non-functional requirements and incorporate in requirements
- Actively seek feedback and incorporate lessons learned into future product development cycles to ensure continuous improvement
- Make informed decisions on prioritization, trade-offs and scope changes based on a deep understanding of business goals and user needs

**About you**:
**Must haves**:

- Have a passion for Product development and have already built some experience as a Product Owner
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead cross functional teams, collaborate effectively, and foster a positive and productive team culture
- A solid understanding of software development processes, technologies, and architecture to facilitate effective communication with development teams and make informed decisions
- Excellent written and verbal communication to effectively convey ideas, priorities, and product vision to diverse audiences including stakeholders, development teams, and customers
- Skill in negotiating priorities and resolving conflicts among different stakeholders to maintain project momentum and achieve successful outcomes
- Enjoy working as part of a close team
- Experience of interacting with customers, hearing their feedback and converting this into Product deliverables
- Create support and training documents for internal and external users
- Be curious, research, and ask questions
- Be result and target orientated
- Work with the rest of the global teams to deliver a common goal
- Show a strong desire to succeed and make a difference

**Great to haves**:

- Knowledge and/or interest in FinTech
- Experience working with teams in multiple locations
- Have exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
- Be a creative thinker, always thinking “how can we”
