People & Development Coordinator

**Locations**:flexible remote working (England based) with travel across to our Gateshead & Reading offices

**Salary**: £31,434.00 FTE

We are currently looking to recruit a People & Development Coordinator to support the development and implementation of the training and CPD plan for UK Education Services to enhance employee’s skills, performance, productivity and quality of work; to monitor,evaluate and report on the value and impact of CPD and training

The People & Development Coordinator willwork collaboratively with Programme Delivery Directors to create and support the implementation of a bespoke and robust induction programme for the UK Education directorate, ensuring all new staff members have accessto tailored support to meet their individual needs and ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform within their roles in line with business needs and objectives.

They will liaise with corporate Training and Development colleagues to Identify and align assessment of current and future training needs of staff, to inform the development of an ongoing workforce development programme.

**Person specification**:
**Knowledge**

Essential:

- A CIPD, learning and development or relevant qualification or working towards (or equivalent experience)
- Working knowledge of training trends, techniques, methods and opportunities
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft packages including Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams

Desirable:

- Knowledge of HR policies, procedures and best practice
- An understanding of the full learning cycle from needs identification through to evaluation

**Experience**

Essential:

- Demonstrable evidence of delivering programmes in a people or learning and development role
- Will have worked with deadlines in a pressurised environment
