We are an established two partner accountancy practice based in Hampton. Due to continued expansion we are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join our team.

The Role

To take ownership of the management accounting for a portfolio of clients, including the preparation and filing of VAT returns, invoicing and CIS returns.

Additionally, to assist our senior accountants in the preparation of quarterly management reporting to clients, financial accounts and audit assignments.

As you will be liaising with both clients and colleagues good written and spoken communication skills are essential.
- Proven bookkeeping experience with an excellent working knowledge of Xero and Sage.
- Good level of computer literacy including Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Strong organisational skills, able to prioritise and work to deadlines.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- An aptitude and willingness to learn new skills. Support and training will be provided where required.
- Knowledge of IRIS accounting software would also be an advantage.

Ideally, you should be a motivated self-starter with prior experience of working in an accountancy practice.

**You should live within a 12 mile radius of our office.**

Salary negotiable based on experience and in the range £27,500 - £33,000.
