The post-holder will be essential to assisting the Team in providing day to day admin support to the maternity governance team. To support the governance team with arranging meetings, taking minutes, and collecting data. To support the department needs to improve communication with staff, which involves updating communication boards, printing out and sharing communications and collating the newsletter. Organizing investigation panels for serious and adverse incidents, managing statements, and setting up panel meetings.

To send out time-sensitive Duty of Candour letters to patients. To update and manage action plan logs from serious and adverse incident reports on Excel. Track and request patient notes in a timely manner for all cases to be reviewed by governance team and making sure the notes for investigations are taken down to be scanned onto EDM. To be flexible and adaptable to change; be able to cover in times of absence.

All applicants are expected to have 2 years experience of providing administrative support, preferable in a hospital environment and have previous experience of working in a fast-paced and multi-disciplinary team.
