Customer Service Representative - SME INSURANCE (TEAM) - Salary from £22,000, **Nottingham**

Gallagher are looking for new Customer Service Representative colleagues in Nottingham to join our team and are conscious of the support our colleagues deserve during the cost-of-living crisis. Our response is to introduce a ground-breaking new scheme that ALL new colleagues are enrolled upon once they join our team:

- The starting salary of all our new Customer Service members will be no **less than £22,000**:

- Every 12 months, they will receive a **guaranteed pay increase** of £1000*
- This continues until their pay reaches £25,000 per year, upon which they revert to our standard 12 month pay review cycle

- These are Permanent Roles
- We are based in Nottingham City Centre with easy access from local bus routes and Park & Ride buses. We are located a 1-minute walk from Maid Marian Way tram station & a 10-minute walk from Nottingham train station.
- Our working hours are Monday to Friday 9 - 5
- Salaries begin at £22,000, with regular salary reviews and progression opportunities
- We have a structured 4-week training programme and a dedicated training team to ensure you have all the support you need to be successful

**A bit about the job**:
In this role you will be helping a variety of small to medium size businesses find insurance policies that meet their needs. You will speak to new and existing customers who have made an appointment to discuss their insurance (there is no cold calling) and use your communication skills to build a rapport, gather the right information to understand their needs and help them find the right insurance policy, supporting them and providing excellent customer service along the way.

**Skills & Experience we’re looking for**:

- Previous call centre experience is not necessary. We provide full training which covers everything from our product range to our phone system. It's all very simple with the right training and support
- We hire great people from lots of different backgrounds. Some of our Customer Service Representatives had experience of working for other insurance companies or in call centres before joining us, but lots of our colleagues join us from jobs within retail, hospitality, care, education, or sales and share our passion for helping people
- Qualifications are not essential, but you will be able to perform basic maths tasks, use IT systems and have a keen eye for detail
- You will enjoy speaking to people and will use your outstanding communication skills to speak openly and expertly on the phone to customers. You will be able to build strong rapport and take a genuine interest in their needs
- Great team working skills, we work together to help our customers, share ideas to help each other and have lots of fun working together
- You will be motivated by working to exceed targets and will combine that focus with the need to always do the right thing for our customers with a dedicated attitude combined with the highest degree of ethics and integrity in client focus
